Description
Harry Jonathan Fenton was an inventor, engineer, ghost hunter, ghost researcher, businessman and founder of Fenton Works, as well as the father of Jack Fenton. He is part of my Danny Phantom/Marvel Cinematic Universe crossover fanfiction series.
During World War II, he worked on various government projects, including the Manhattan Project and Project Rebirth, and helped the Strategic Scientific Reserve fight against HYDRA. He helped Howard Stark when he constructed the second shield of Captain America and he was responsible for adding the iconic star and stripes, and after the war he, along with Stark located the Tesseract, which had been lost in the Atlantic Ocean.
Sometime during the war on December 17, 1942, Harry Fenton is called to a family house in the small town of Amity Park, Minnesota where they reported a ghost hearing under a young boy's bed. the mother tells him that she heard the ghost say a known quote by Roosevelt.
A few months after the war, he went back to ghost research as well as the 'Halfa Theory'. During that return, Fenton receives a call about a ghost sighting. He also have managed to capture an actual ghost and takes it to do research on it, including get samples of ectoplasm.
A year after the war, he helped his Peggy Carter in the case to prove that Howard Stark was innocent, as well as helping her stop Whitney Frost.
In 1948, Harry had to help save Ida Manson (Greenberg was her last name at the time) from the Harvesters and former colleague Manfred Bauer, who planned to use the Tetrahedron on Ida to make her his queen and world domination. Manfred got defeated when he touched the Tetrahedron, which activated a massive ghost power and teleported him to another dimension in the Ghost Zone.
Later in life, Harry married a woman named Elizabeth and had a son, Jack, which he had a strained relationship with over their disagreements and views on ghosts. Fenton was also one of the founding members of S.H.I.E.LD. Eventually, Harry kept his role in S.H.I.E.L.D. a secret from Jack and makes a film in which he uses the video to tell his son Jack that he is one of the co-founders of S.H.I.E.L.D. as well as how he kept it a secret from him. He also uses the video to tell him that he leaves an inheritance and that the Fenton family are wealthier than they look. He also gave Fenton Works to Jack after he married Maddie. When he became a threat to HYDRA, giving research to his long time friend Howard Stark in successfully recreating the Super Soldier Serum, Harry and his wife were assassinated by Bucky Barnes, better known as Winter Soldier. He did not live to see Jazz and Danny being born.
